Job Description:

We are looking for a BI Consultant to join our Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will analyze client business requirements, design reports and dashboards, and translate them into clear technical specifications. They will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to implement BI solutions, ensure data accuracy, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making. The role also involves maintaining existing dashboards, optimizing reporting processes, and ensuring high-quality BI deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data: Locate, validate, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Design and implement solutions: Lead the design and implementation of BI solutions, including data models, and develop a comprehensive BI strategy.
  • Develop reports and dashboards: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and IT professionals to identify business needs and translate them into data projects.
  • Educate and support: Educate stakeholders on the role of business intelligence and provide training to end-users on how to use BI tools effectively.
  • Ensure data quality and security: Oversee data governance, quality assurance, and ensure the security and confidentiality of all data used.

Required Skills:

  • Analytical mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical expertise: Proficiency with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data tools (e.g., SQL, ETL tools).
  • Data skills: Experience with data mining, data modeling, and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field such as data analytics, computer science, economics, or finance.

­Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 1.5–2 years of relevant experience (Technical BA/BI Analyst).
