Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated ETL Consultant to join our Data Analytics team. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing ETL workflows, validating data, and coordinating with BI and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL specifications.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and validation across all ETL processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Document ETL processes, mappings, and workflows for operational transparency and future maintenance.
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL Expertise – Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on Experience with ETL Tools – ODI, Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or similar tools.
- Data Warehousing Concepts – Knowledge of star/snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables, and data modeling basics.
- Data Integration & Transformation – Ability to build, test, and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines.
- Data Quality & Validation – Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data throughout the ETL process.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong debugging skills for ETL job failures and performance bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1.5–2 years of relevant experience as an ETL Consultant or in a similar role.
